NACCA Indigenous Women Entrepreneurship (IWE) Loan Fund

NACCA / Indigenous Financial Institutions · Indigenous

In plain language

Microloans up to $50,000 for First Nations, Inuit, and Métis women starting or growing a business in Canada. Launched 2022 with $55M from Budget 2021. In NL the delivery agent is Ulnooweg Development Group. Since 2022 the IFI network has approved 600+ loans totalling $11.4M and delivered 5,000+ advisory services and training events alongside the loans — so this isn't just capital, it's wraparound support. Less-stringent security requirements than typical commercial lending. Stacks well with AEP grant layer (the existing catalog entry) so most applicants should pursue both simultaneously. Contact IWYE@nacca.ca to get routed to the correct IFI.
